It has been an amazing month and we’ve had a number of beautiful cakes that we’ve created for several weddings this month. We are excited about sharing them with our fans, followers and friends. We begin by showing you this great looking cake for Lisa and Kelby who hosted friends and family at the Hotel St. Claire in San Jose, California. The three tiers are made of carrot cake, chocolate-salted caramel and berries and cream. The cake is covered in butter cream with sugar bands and decorated with fresh flowers, which is a popular decoration among our clients, as you will see in this month’s cake gallery.
For Susan and Patrick, who tied the knot at the Terrace Room right near Lake Merritt in Oakland, California; we made this gorgeous three tiered cake adorned with fresh red and white roses. Their guests were treated to passion fruit, chocolate-salted caramel and tiramisu cake flavors and the entire cake was covered in buttercream, delicious!
Tiffany + Quang added cultural flare to their celebration at the Hong Kong East Ocean restaurant in Emeryville, California. For them, we created this buttercream covered cake with passion fruit, berries + cream, and tiramisu flavors. We also used our sculpting skills to make this cute cake topper and fondant bows. Congrats to them!
Fred and Kathleen who also married in October at the Empress of China in San Francisco shared this amazing three tiered cake with their guests. They indulged on cake layers of chocolate-salted caramel and tiramisu. We covered the cake in butter cream and added fresh orchids to make it look super romantic!
Finally we are so excited by the press that the cake we created for Dawn + David's wedding has been getting. They chose an elegant three tier cake made of berries + cream, chocolate-salted caramel and tiramisu. The cake was covered in butter cream and featured artistic frosting and fondant cake decorations. To see some more great moments from their celebration, check out their feature on Carmen Alvarez Photography's blog page.
We hope you've enjoyed our October Cakes gallery. Until next time, remember to always eat cake and be marry!
